Rain On Snow Tutorial

This Rain on Snow tutorial helps us understand what happens during periods of rain in the winter and how it affects surrounding wildlife. Please follow the steps of this video and fill out a form in order to learn how to properly dig a snow pit and track the effects of Rain on Snow events. After building a snow pit, please remember to fill it back up with snow so that people or wildlife can’t fall into it.
